Coakley Award 2021

Alen Pavlic, doctoral student in Prof. Dual's group at the Institute for Mechanical Systems, received the W. Terence Coakley Award 2021 for the best flash-talk presentation at Acoustofluidics 2021 entitled: "Microstreaming and acoustic interaction forces between two particles in a standing wave within a viscous fluid".  He is the fifth award winner in a row of distinguished young researchers.

Alen received the DownloadW. Terence Coakley Award 2021 (PDF, 144 KB), named after Professor Terry Coakley, who's contribution in the filed of Biophysics are widely known.  With his talk about " Microstreaming and acoustic interaction forces between two particles in a standing wave within a viscous fluid"   he was able to convince the jury.
